Southbow Landing

Southbow Landing is a major new master-planned community on the south side of Cochrane, east of Highway 22. The development spans about 545-550 acres and is projected to eventually include around 3,000 homes, covering single-family houses, duplexes, and townhomes — offering a broad mix of housing styles for different buyers.

Designed with a “live-work-play” concept in mind, Southbow Landing will include multiple parks, over 10 km of pathways, green/natural spaces, and environmentally preserved areas — including preserved slopes and land along the nearby Bow River — making it attractive for families, outdoors-oriented buyers, or anyone who values nature plus comfort. 

Plans also call for future school sites and a significant commercial centre — which will become the largest retail/commercial hub on Cochrane’s south side. That could mean convenient access to services, retail, and everyday neighbourhood needs for residents.
