One of the many communities located in the River Heights area, this neighbourhood is known for its beautiful homes and family-friendly atmosphere. The houses in this area are typically newer, with many of them having been built within the last 10-15 years. In addition to its charming feel, this community also boasts several parks and playgrounds, making it a great place for families with young children.

Location
Located on the southern side of Cochrane, this community is right next to Highway 22. The main road through out it leads to two exits. One onto Highway 22, and one into the town of Cochrane by the large recreation centre called Spray Lakes. Although this main road has school traffic due to the Bow Valley highschool, traffic flows easily and is not heavily congested.
Designated Schools
As the community of Riversong has plenty of young families it is important what your school options are. The designated schools are:
- Fireside School (k-8)
- Bow Valley High School (9-12)
Other options are: the Cochrane Christian Academy or the
Catholic School System.

As you enter the community of Riversong from Highway 22, you will pass the commercial district which contains a number of different amenities, such as: Daycare, Liquor Store, Gas Stations, Car Dealerships, and more. As you continue on through Riversong and exit on the Northern side you will find yourself by the large recreation centre called Spray Lakes Sawmills Centre as well as a large off leash dog park, and river trails. From there it is a short drive to the centre of Cochrane and the rest of the towns amenities.
